We collect only what we need to deliver our services:

Business contact details (name, organisation, email) when you enquire or request a demo.
Information about your site, devices and use of the Canopy Platform, provided by your own administrators.
Technical logs needed to operate and secure our service.

We do not collect identifiable images or video. Our edge products process video on-site; only metadata and aggregate events leave your premises.

2. How we use personal information

To respond to enquiries and provide quotations.
To deliver, operate and support the Canopy Platform and edge devices.
To improve our products, using de-identified and aggregated data only.
To meet our legal and regulatory obligations.

3. Data sovereignty

Customer data is hosted in Australian regions. We do not transfer personal information offshore unless you have provided explicit consent and we have taken steps to ensure adequate protection.

4. Privacy by design

Our products are engineered so that:

Raw video never leaves your site by default.
No facial recognition or biometric templates are created.
Anonymous, aggregate counts are the default output.
You can configure retention, alerts and integrations per site.

5. Disclosure

We do not sell personal information. We may disclose information to:

Australian cloud hosting and infrastructure providers under contract.
Professional advisers (lawyers, accountants) bound by confidentiality.
Authorities where required by law.

6. Access and correction

You may request access to, or correction of, personal information we hold about you. Contact us using the details below and we will respond within a reasonable period.

7. Complaints
