Canopy Agents are software units that combine a perception model, site rules, and an action channel.
Standard agents
Queue agent
Watches the front-desk zone. Messages the duty manager when the queue exceeds a defined line for more than two minutes.
PPE agent
Watches a construction gate. Flags a person without hard hat. Opens a ticket in Procore before they enter.
Stockroom agent
Counts entrances by hour. Surfaces a staffing recommendation in the morning report.
Density agent
Watches a transport interchange. Escalates to operations when a platform exceeds planned density.
Available models
- People and motion: class-agnostic detection, directional tracking, zone entry/exit.
- PPE and safety: hard hat, hi-vis, vest, eyewear, gloves.
- Vehicle and asset: forklift, truck, car classification.
- Object left or removed: luggage, stock, signage.
- Dwell and loiter: configurable time thresholds per zone.
- Age/gender bracket: anonymous estimates for OOH measurement.
Custom models
For use cases not covered by standard models, Canopy fine-tunes on footage the customer provides. Work is done in the Sydney office. The resulting model is signed, versioned, and deployed to the customer's edge unit. The customer owns the weights.
Accountability
Every agent run is logged with a confidence score. Adjust rules, silence zones, or roll back model versions from the console. Agents do not self-improve on customer sites without approval.
Talk about your use case
We will tell you if it fits a standard agent or needs a custom build.
