Runs signed models pushed over-the-air. Atomic updates with automatic rollback.
Buffers events locally on encrypted disk. Syncs in order when WAN returns.
Full-disk encryption with hardware-backed key storage.
Reports temperature, CPU, memory, inference latency, dropped frames every 30 seconds.

Data handling

Edge units do not store raw video beyond a short rolling buffer for crash recovery. No facial recognition. No biometric templates. No default connection to non-Australian services.

Power and mounting

24V DC or PoE++. Standard equipment rack or shelf. DIN-rail kit for industrial settings. Five to seven year service life. Next business day replacement in metro areas.

Which cameras are supported?

Any IP camera that streams RTSP or speaks ONVIF. This includes Hikvision, Dahua, Axis, Bosch, Hanwha and most VMS-connected cameras.

What happens if the network drops?

The Edge Unit keeps running. Events queue on encrypted disk and sync in order when connectivity returns.

Can the hardware survive a construction site?

Yes. CU-2 and CU-3 are fanless, wide-temperature, and rated for dust and vibration. We replace failed units next business day in metro areas.
